Our Core Commitment
SimplifyPlan uses AI to assist PBS practitioners with documentation. Participant data entered into SimplifyPlan is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model — ever. This statement explains exactly how AI works within our platform and what we will never do with your data.
SimplifyPlan is built on a foundation of trust. The practitioners and organisations that use our platform are responsible for some of the most sensitive personal information held within the NDIS ecosystem — participant behaviour profiles, clinical assessments, support plans, and incident data. That responsibility is not taken lightly.
This statement exists to give every practitioner, organisation, and participant a clear, honest account of:
- What artificial intelligence is used for within SimplifyPlan
- How AI processing works technically
- What data is and is not used in AI processes
- What clinical responsibilities remain with the practitioner
- What rights practitioners and participants have in relation to AI
This statement is published in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the OAIC's guidance on AI and privacy (2025–26), and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's expectations for participant data protection.
